New Video: Joseph Rose – Be What It Be Featuring Raymond Salgado

Canadian recording artist, singer, songwriter and producer Joseph Rose is truly in a lane of his own, leaving it hard to pin point him into one category or genre. Rose is a Vancouver Island Music Award winning rapper, and Western Canadian Music Award Nominee, whose music has received over 5,000,000 streams since the release of his first solo EP in 2016. Rose independently handles every aspect of his product creation from lyrics, melody, video script writing and directing, to instrumental and executive production of albums, videos, and even cover artwork. Rose has toured North America extensively in direct support of artists such as Machine Gun Kelly, Tech N9ne, Swollen Members, Madchild, ¡Mayday! Merkules, Hieroglyphics, and Zion I. Rose has also collaborated on records with each of the artists he’s toured with so far. Rose’s music continues to stay consistent and true to its sound, with a mixture of classic Hip-Hop records, to pop radio vibes, all the way back to new wave trap and reggeaton. There isn’t a style of music Rose won’t make or release, he refuses to be boxed into one sound.

Rose’s solo debut came in 2016, when he was featured on Madchild’s most success to date The Little Things, which quickly reached over 1 million views and streams its first month, and is continuously rising. In 2016 Rose released his debut EP True Colors produced by Grammy nominated producer Pro Logic, with guest production by multiple MMVA, Juno Award winning and platinum selling producer, Rob The Viking of Swollen Members. True Colors featured Toronto rap star Preme on the record Cookin’. The Main single off True Colors “Pour You Out” has been one of Rose’s most successful solo releases to date. 2017 Rose dropped his first solo LP Twisted Roots produced entirely by Rob The Viking. Twisted Roots featured singles like Hands Dirty featuring Madchild and These Roads as well as guest appearances from Moka Only. Since 2017 Rose has been focusing on building and creating content as well as co-writing with other Hip-Hop and Reggaeton artist in Los Angeles, California. He has since released a multitude of singles, produced by some very notorious Hip-Hop producers including DJ Kemo and Skipondabeat, and continues to work closely with producers Pro Logic & Rob The Viking. Rose’s most impactful singles to date are No Alibis & Be What It Be.

In 2020 Rose will be touring North America in direct support of New York rising superstar Lil Tjay, as well as Europe & Canada with Madchild. With built up content, Rose will be releasing multiple projects, a new album, EP, as well as a single at least every two weeks of 2020. Some of his upcoming collaborations include the likes of artists such as Nav, Mike Stud, Merkules, Jordan Hollywood, Madchild, Zion I, Mayday, Angel Cintron and More!
