brz – pronounced “breeze” – is a producer/rapper based in Brooklyn, New York City. He is Your Favorite Abstraction. His music focuses on depictions of the existential, love, ego, simulated images, and technology, because it is strange and disorienting (and necessary).
“Sick Sad Summer” was written in the heat of summer 2019. Inspired by the atrocities being committed by ICE, brz felt compelled to write a rager.

Iused money and alcohol to cover up the scars and act as if depression and trust issues weren’t there but no matter how drunk I got, even enough to fly away, the scars never disappeared. But no matter how much I got beat up and how many scars I had, I knew that if I fell I just had to get back up. ‘Fly Away’ tells this story.”

“Fly Away” is a song that is sure to create conversations beyond the usual rap release. Not only does it address Pe$o’s own struggles with depression and trust issues but also in how it is to deal with others facing these same kind of emotional problems. There’s no shortage of hip hop fans, and young people in general, who are having the same kind of experience – and a song like this may even help them get through to the other side.

Midwest Collective, Half Moon Science releases their latest project, “A Loaf of Bread, a Container of Milk & a Stick of Butter”
Half Moon Science is a beat-making collective hailing from Chicago and Milwaukee that decided to join forces to put out an instrumental album called “A Loaf of Bread, A Container of Milk, & A Stick of Butter”. The members -Therapy Beats, Noble Dru & Wendell Scott- are not new to the game and have many albums under their belts. Therapy Beats and Noble Dru were previously in a three-man rap group called Beatmonstas. Shortly after a group member left- the two decided to reinvent themselves as Beat Makers- later forming– Half Moon Science with Wendell Scott.
Half Moon Science’s production style covers a range of genres like Hip-Hop, Chill-Hop, Lo-fi. Boom- Bap, Downtempo, and Trip-Hop. Noble Dru has worked with some well-known artists in the music industry like; Prince Po (Organize Konfusion), John Robinson, Sadat X, Tall Black Guy, and Craig G.
Therapy Beats has worked with DJ 3rd Rail, Aztec Dinero, and a host of others. Additionally, Wendell Scott has lent his production skills on some Beatmonstas releases as well as provided production for a wide range of artists in the Milwaukee area. The crew members make most of their music using equipment such as; Akai MPCs, Synthesizers, Samples and Records. All of their records are produced in house and mixed and mastered by Noble Dru to keep the sonic integrity of their sound. Currently, the Half Moon Science team has been performing their live beat sets throughout the Midwest (USA) and is ready to expand nationwide and internationally.
Their debut album – A Loaf of Bread, a Container of Milk & a Stick of Butter- was released Sept 6th, 2019 on Cassette Tape in limited supply and available as a digital release that can be purchased on Bandcamp or streamed on all major platforms. The album features guest vocalists -D.J. Rob-Ski, Sense One, Rafiqi Green – and scratches from DJ 3rd Rail. There is a high demand for the vinyl and cd formats and will be available soon. Half Moon Science is here to maintain the purity of Hip Hop and keep the tradition of Boom Bap production alive.

When your DNA is positive music, you are destined to great. Multi-talented Artist, Amadi-born as Christopher Denny- hails from Columbia, S.C. From a young age, he was fascinated with music. He began his journey in music with his beautiful mother Lee English – who is a profound singer in the Gospel. Since the age of 15, his natural ability to hear and play and landed him an opportunity as a church musician.
Amadi is a musician with skills in arranging, composing and performing using various instruments including his voice. His performances include Jazz, Gospel, and R&B. His current genre of music is Hip-Hop and R&B. His eldest sister, Nicole Denny inspired him by exposing him to electronic music very early. Amadi will soon graduate from NCCU with a B.A in Jazz studies.

Popular DJ, DJ Ghost is making major moves and his next biggest announcement is that he’ll be appearing on a major new show.
“Hey, DJ Behind the Mix” will be an all access exclusive with some of the biggest DJ’s in the entertainment business. Currently the official DJ for the Philadelphia 76ers, along with rising rap star Sim Santana, 2019 has been huge for DJ Ghost. Aside from that he is a mixshow DJ on popular Philly radio station Q102.
Being one of the most sought after DJ’s in the tri-state, the Philly bred DJ being on “Behind the Mix” you will see his daily grind, hard work and dedication that propelled his success along with more coming.
Speaking on this new opportunity DJ Ghost explains being featured on “Hey, DJ Behind the Mix”, “I’m super excited for this. It’s really going to show the hard work behind the scenes and what it takes to be on this level.” Nothing is overnight and this business is tough, he states. He continues “Not only that you still have everyday life.”
DJ Ghost also gave some insight on being the Philadelphia 76ers official DJ and working with Q102. “This was major for me to be working with the 76ers, the team has a bright future this season and I’m glad to be on the 1’s and 2’s every night, he said”.
