Born and raised on Denver’s East Side, Vic has built his music career through his work with hip hop groups such as Def Con Gold and the Steel Toe Aliens. His production and beat-making ability has also made him a collaborator of local Pop and R&B musicians. In 2019, Vic and Traine teamed up to create Loco-Motive and officially began releasing music. James Boston is an independent artist from Bakersfield, California. Starting music at young age, James found his love for music at the age of 7 and hasn’t looked back. He was 17 when he first put out his first project, and has been progressively getting better as time goes on. Forward to present day, the 23 year old artist is currently finishing up hid new r&b project titled “Thanks for the Heartbreak” which he hopes will help him cement his place in the music industry.

Monroe stated his biggest influences as Muhammad Ali, Salvador Dali, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Amy Winehouse, Snoop Dogg, Biggie, Tupac, The Game, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, J. Cole, Kid Cudi, ASAP Rocky, Nirvana, Eminem, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Wayne, Oasis, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean and The Beatles. Monroe also stated he is influenced by all genres of music and art.

It’s produced by various Charlotte natives and also the same with features. It has its few braggadocious songs, but also soulful ballads describing a rags to riches story and personal views of being the streets of Charlotte.
