HBK Tyranny is a, if not the only, hip hop artist from Salt Lake to gain a national following. It was in New York however that HBK got his start. Over the past 4 years he has built up an artist consulting agency, HBK MGMT, and released a dozen singles. You may be familiar with releases “Home” or “No Traffic”
September 2019 HBK released his debut project “We Don’t Do the Same Thyng”. The six song EP has captured support from his birth town making him a pioneer for Utah rap; while also building approval as a respected artist in the New York music scene.
His debut project “We Don’t Do the Same Thyng” released last weekend, 8/31/2019 on all platforms. It is an emotion-filled, 6 song EP that touches on differences between small town life and New York rock life.
