Michael Persall (MICKY) is a singer, songwriter, and co-founder of music-tech platform Treble Industries. He initially kicked off his career in NYC in 2015 by playing 408 shows in one year. He released his debut single, Candid, in 2016 on its way to over 1.5 million streams. Following the release of his second single, Fire, via Bakermat’s New Top Amsterdam label, MICKY landed a sync placement on TNT’s Animal Kingdom.
“Strike” is about that moment where you accept what you need to do to be happy. Sometimes it comes at the expense of losing relationships or changing lifestyles, but overall it’s just about understanding that life changes and people grow, and its healthy to check in on what you want every once in a while to make sure you’re not letting life just happen to you.
