Mikey Candela – Me Gusta

Mikey Candela is a Bilingual rapper composing in both English and Spanish. He is up-beat and uses catchy hooks to reel in the audience. His works include Trap, Hip-Hop and Reggaeton genres with trippy flows and hard instrumentals. Such can be said with his latest body of work, “Me Gusta”, directed by Melvin Ramos and produced by Doctor C.

Mikey Candela was born on November 1st, 1988 in Carolina, Puerto Rico. By the age of 6 his parents moved to Florida in pursuit of a betrer lifestyle and so that Mikey could learn english. He attended schools while making friends and forming his first rap group with his best friend. At the age of 18 Mikey moved back to Puerto Rico to pursue his career as an artist. He formed a band called “Candela Music” which went on to make jingles for television, perform at festivals, private parties, proms and even opened up for the biggest rock band in Puerto Rico. In 2016 Mikey left the band to start his solo career in urban music such as Trap, Hip-Hop and Reggaeton. In 2018 he released his first music video titled “Me Gusta”.
