MDTA – Suffocate @mdta666
“Suffocate” uses alleged murder as a muse and is inspired by the struggle of dealing with bipolarity – and the dark thoughts that stem from that disorder. The message that MDTA wanted to convey here is that yes, bipolarity is real, yes it’s an uphill battle to recovery and yes there are demons that exist (in your mind) that want you to fail. He wanted to express the reality of bipolarity and the difficulty that goes with fighting the demons that come with it. The demons that manifest as a result of bipolarity are very real and managing sadistic thoughts that come with it are a choice we have to make daily.
MDTA stands for More Dead Than Alive. Being More Dead Than Alive is a movement. I am a movement. This is definitely not a persona and its a whole lot more than just a name. More Dead Than Alive represents every person out here that considers themselves dead to societal norms and stereotypes. Being More Dead Than Alive endorses the fact that its ok to not be normal. I am not normal, I am not the norm, and my message begins with music. I love music and right now the best representation of my journey of self expression is through demonic, edgy horror aesthetics and dark trap.

I feel “Travel Hard” is a very special track. From the great production by Hustle Beats to the lyrics brings a bit of old school touch to the new wave beat. I hope you enjoy the song. Thanks for your time.
Wickedxhaunter – Dream @wickedxhaunter

Hekate’s Torch – Sacred and Profane @HekatesTorch
“Sacred and Profane” from Hekate’s Torch was the first push in their career, motivating them towards creating a body of work that was meaningful and fun. Their next song, Dance with me, was more lyrical and thought provoking. But it was with the song with the same name as the band that things shifted gear, they decided to challenge themselves and record their first Music video. The experience changed their performance and how their fans saw them. With the song Chains, they solidified how they wanted to present their music and message to the world. The song When I’m with You, was a romantic ballad written for each other and has a version sung in Brazilian Portuguese. The Forgotten Shore has a strong message about overcoming addiction.
What happens when two Worlds cross paths? Two musicians with Big dreams become friends, lovers and share Music and Spirituality.
Two hearts beating in unison with one intent, one destiny and one rescue cat. Brought together by love, they are now creating a new Timeline.
When did it begin? Robert wanted to be a musician from a young age, learning saxophone and guitar. In the late 90’s he rented a double garage and invested in some recording gear, and the band he started, worked together for a year playing local gigs, before the members moved on different things. At this point Robert decided to pursue poetry and regularly performed at the local open mic events in Victoria.
Meanwhile in Brazil… Our red haired jungle girl has been singing since she was 5 years old and songwriting professionally since 1999. She studied lyrical singing, Drama classes, acted in many plays and participated in many choirs and operas as 1st Soprano. She won the 2nd prize for the Latin Festival of Music and Dance in Brazil and 1st prize for the Best Soundtrack in the Amazon Festival of Music and Theatre, and internationally as an author for the Best Play in the Tena Music and Theatre Festival, in Ecuador. Her songs were played on many radio stations in Brazil and online radios in Europe.
But in 2015 she packs up all those years of choirs, operas and rock concerts to arrive in Canada following her bliss. It was a very tough decision to make. But her choice was also motivated by an old dream.
It wasn’t until a few years ago when they met at the Crossroads of this new timeline and decided to make some magical music together. Femi and Robert became friends in music and much more than that.
Hekate’s Torch features Brazilian singer/songwriter Femi Heqet aka Mohana and Canadian poet/musician Robert Johnson, they are the newest promise of Independent Alternative Rock in Beautiful Victoria, BC, Canada. May Her Torch be with you.
JAHBLESSTHEO – BLINGALING @jahblesstheo
Growing up as a child, the infectious and vibrant energy of 90’s dancehall music and culture stood out the most and heavily influenced my relationship with the arts (and all other relationships).
A blend of reggae/rock steady “riddim” with a hip hop flare, “BLINGALING” delivers a balance of nostalgic 90s dancehall energy with a modern hip hop flow. Peppering in Jamaican patois-laced lyrics, JAHBLESSTHEO projects his boastful energy as a steadfast lover boy.
A groove – driven, hip – hop & dancehall songwriter and performing artist from Washington DC, JAHBLESSTHEO boasts candid big-ups alongside more reserved self-reflections in unique, off-beat demonstrations of self-expression. Often flirting with patois-laced lyrics as a nod to his Jamaican heritage, his jaunty raps and somber ambient chants detail a raw passion love and livity.
Eddy$tacks – Never Trip
Eddy$tacks latest installment, “Never Trip”, is a lovelorn journey through a stung heart. Eddy is looking to the future, moving on from good love gone bad. It’s an intelligent, thoughtful reflection on how we tend to focus on the bad things in a relationship and neglect all the positive foundations that it was built on. The flow and lyricism in Never Trip is both witty and intelligent. Eddy weaves an interesting story that unfolds new layers in every line. The track never becomes encumbered with unnecessary layers, or verse. It’s just the beat, the melody and the lyrics.
Working toward his goal of being legendary in the rap industry, Eddy$tacks has been sharing his talent with the world since 2014.
A young artist with a passion to redefine the image of what a rapper is and expand his presence as an independent artist , Eddy$tacks is already making noteworthy strides towards stardom as the CEO of his own brand, Stack Team Entertainment.
Hailing from Providence, Rhode Island the smallest state in America, Eddy$tacks grew up being influenced by legendary NY lyricist, Jay-Z and iconic artists such as Rick Ross, Nipsey Hussle, Russ and Wiz Khalifa, . As Eddy$tacks continues to use his undeniable talent his performance credits include venues in NYC , Atlanta and of course Rhode Island.
His most recent project , “The Allowance”, released in June is envisaged to become a staple project for Eddy$tacks drawing the attention of new fans while keeping old fans engaged and anticipating more.
