Taiyamo Denku Ft Lil Kim – Fabulous Life (Produced By @dcypha) | @TaiyamoDenku |

Fabulous Life

If you were to be asked to describe what a “Fabulous Life” consists of, how would you respond? Seasoned Milwaukee emcee Taiyamo Denku dives deep into this question on his latest single with producer, Dcypha. Over eighties cinema styled keys, Denku falls into self-reflection while speaking candidly on the topic. Boston singer and past collaborator The Genius provides the chorus. He performs his vocals with true precedence, giving the song an incredible energy to pump you up.

Taiyamo and Dcypha have been putting together songs with huge features for years now. Just this year, they’ve dropped songs with Conway The Machine, Baretta 9 of Killarmy, Reef The Lost Cauze, CappaDonna and Bronze Nazareth. With this new single being the last release before the “No Industry Standard” album debuts, the Cypha Den Music movement delivers one of their biggest collaborations to date alongside the Queen Bee herself, Lil Kim. In true Brooklyn fashion, she serves up a verse full of high end verbiage, the style that helped propel her to iconic status.

“Fabulous Life” is a record atypical of what long time fans may have expected from the Wisco lyricist. The single still carries the witty word play the barbarian wordsmith is known for yet with Lil Kim and The Genius, it proves Taiyamo can pull off a catchy commercial record while staying true to his Hip Hop roots. Check out the single below and pre-order the album on Bandcamp.

Calvin Ross – Rover (Remix) | @CalvinRoss_

Rover

Jackson, Tennessee native Calvin Ross continues to add to his lengthy discography of cover singles with the release of BlocBoy JB’s “Rover” single

Having recently relocated to Atlanta, the sizzling R&B sensation continues to level up with the remix title. Ross’ rise to fame began on YouTube years ago when Calvin burst onto the platform covering artists like August Alsina and Future. Bursting with soul, the talented vocalist would go on to re-work songs from Justin Bieber and again revisit another Future track, “Low Life”, that would be featured on Hip Hop DX.

Calvin is far from a mere cover artist. He’s seen success in his originally crafted material as with songs like “Bad Fetish”, “Bang”, Last Dance” and more. He blends a rugged, street related demeanor with his melodic, spirited vocals such as found on “Where I’m From”. He has quite the following to back him as well. With the Ross Tribe continuously showing strong support, Calvin has amassed a powerful social media presence featuring verified accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Spotify.

Calvin Ross plans on being in our eyes and ears for the entire remainder of 2018, with more remixes leading up to the official release of his “Copycat Volume 2” mixtape. Stream the song on Audiomack and stay tuned in for more material from Calvin in the coming weeks.

(New Exclusive Interview) Hip Hop Artist HSVN Talks Album Changes And The Music Industry

1. How long have you been doing music and what is your normal process of creating music?

  • I’ve been making for about 10 year. I started as a producer, but I’ve only been writing for 2-3 years I’d say. My process is pretty simple, I normally start making a beat. Then cut a hook as I’m making the beat. Then finish writing the song once the beat is done being produced.
2. How important is it for you to real live what you speak about in your music? or does that matter?
  • It’s important, because it gives you shit to talk about. If I have nothing to talk about then I can’t write anything. So I welcome mistakes and challenges all day because it gives me a story to tell.
3. What three artist would you put on “Juice” remix and why would you put them on there?
  • ASAP Ferg, 2 Chainz, and Juicy J. We’d have a popping ass strip club video for sure. I love how all of them have fun in they’re records. No one would be afraid to say some off the wall shit.
4. Changes is the name of the album. Why that title and what does it mean to you personally?
  • Originally the first singe was called changes, so I ran with that for the name of the album. Every song is about a situation that changed me internally during the process of finishing this album.
5. Top 5 spots to eat at in Vegas and why?
  • John Mules BBQ , BBQ is my favorite food
  • Lola’s, I love they’re gumbo and shrimp & grits
  • Aloha Kitchen, The have a fire ass BBQ chicken plate
  • Lotus of Siam, I’d kill for they’re garlic prawns
  • Goldbox Foodtruck, They make my favorite shrimp po’boys
6. biggest music regret and why?
  • I wish I would’ve waited to sign a pub deal. When money gets low in this business, you tend to make quick decisions that aren’t the best for you. Had I signed a year or 2 later I would’ve known exactly what to do with my paper, but I was young and dumb, so I through my funds like water.
7. What makes you different from all the other artist that are coming out of Vegas?
  • How relatable my songs are is what makes me different and even stand out. I don’t talk about hustling as far as selling drugs or being a pimp, but I talk about real life situations that people go through on a daily basis. I also make myself vulnerable. I don’t have a problem saying I’m in love, I’m brokenhearted, or have been addicted to drugs. I keep it real, where a lot of artists here are trying to put on the show that Vegas offers. That’s not me or what I’m about, I’m a real person.

TROOFFOREVER

Washington D.C. native TROOFFOREVER is on a mission to solidify himself eternally in stone with “Forever”, an EP project focuses on hard work, perseverance and extreme determination

TROOF’s musical approach on the 6 track effort carries fragments of some of urban music’s greatest. Take “Get Paid” for example. The wavy jazz number carries hints of Curren$y while “G.G.T.M.” is sprinkled with U.G.K. and T.I. flavors. “Forever” carries both radio singles and strong street records. TROOFFOREVER is able to drop trap tracks like “Gotta Get It” and hop over to R&B fusions like on “Sex So Good”. More than a mere artist, TROOF’s strong business sense is riddled throughout the EP. Check out “To The League”, a bouncy single he recorded with intentions of possibly landing a sport game placement with. “All I do is ball, so I go straight to the league / and my team lit, can’t nobody f*ck with me” sets the perfect tone for setting up a a game winning shot on NBA 2K.

Each song is unique in it’s own setting and one is sure to catch your attention from first listen. With the EP release, TROOFFOREVER also announced an upcoming video for “Get Paid”. Along with the video announcement, there are strong rumors of an upcoming headlining show with some surprise local talent support. With releases like “Forever”, it’s a no brainer that the D.C. representative’s music will go on to live “Forever” on the net and beyond.
