Taiyamo Denku Ft Conway The Machine – Be Who You Are | @Taiyamodenku @dcypha |

Taiyamo Denku

Taiyamo Denku and Conway The Machine are all about being real and saying no to corny gimmicks. They share what that mindset is made up of over a soulfully charged Dcypha instrumental

Taiyamo Denku is prepping the release of his forthcoming album, “No Industry Standard”, that features guest such as Lil Kim, Chino XL, KRS One and many more. For the lead off single, the Milwaukee Monsta teams up with Griselda Records front runner Conway The Machine for the eye opening “Be Who You Are”. Aimed to wake up listeners mentally, the two emcees drive an important message to the masses’ ear lobes. That memorandum is to “Be Who You Are”, nothing more or less.

Conway kicks the record off by detailing felonious tactics and imagery of true life living from within the streets. The lifestyle found in the lyricism is something the shooting survivor has a first person account of fully “Drive by spraying hecklers / the game’s mine now, go relay the message / I give the word, youngins on your block making messes / I got the call it was finished before I ate my breakfast”

Denku approaches his verse from an introspective outlook. He speaks about painkillers, misguided rappers and the starving artist’s plight to achieving success in the industry. His mixes these subjects with his rhyme battle background for some sick wordplay. “Won’t change my tone, I was born in the shade / I’m bout to do what I love, not just getting paid / Every record gets slayed, the dragon needs taming / depart the dirty truth or I’m telling Matt Damon”

Overall, “Be Who You Are” combines all the proven elements of a true Hip Hop song; truthful lyrics, concentrated energy and a rugged beat. Check it out above and stay tuned for more releases from “No Industry Standard”. The visual for the Beatnuts produced “Stand Back” will premiere later this month. Following that, Taiyamo will be debuting the “Fabulous Life” single alongside the Queen Bee, Lil Kim.

XNDRSOUND – October’s Eve @xndrsound

XNDRSOUND

XNDRSOUND is an artist from Boston, MA. XNDRSOUND has released music over the past 2 years and has provided a dark, cold vibe to match that of the city he hails from. His debut EP “September” released in 2017 and was highlighted by singles “Paranormal” and “On Me”. Throughout the 2017 year he continued to release singles, “Disconnect” and “Problematic” were two standouts. After a brief break, he partnered with frequent collaborator, Humbeats, to release his second EP, “October’s Eve”.

“October’s Eve” is the second EP by artist XNDRSOUND. The follow-up to his debut EP “September” is a 4-track project produced exclusively by Humbeats. XNDRSOUND brings a mix of dark, R&B, down-tempo tracks and a creates a mood throughout the project. Sticking to the theme of autumn and his breakout single “Paranormal”, the project starts with “Very Scary” a brief two minute intro about XNDR’s experience with the energy of other artists in the scene. “95” is a single style track with is uptempo and a bit out of character but provides a necessary boost in energy to an otherwise mellow project. “Cnflctd” is an introspective R&B where XNDR questions a relationship he once had that he was sure to last that has now fallen into disarray. “Takeoff”, the outro looks to solidify XNDR’s confidence in himself and his team.

Slimeaveli – On God @Slimeaveli

Slimeaveli

Slimeaveli premieres his new single “On God”, produced by YungKooley, taken from his latest project, “The Slimiest”

It’s been four years since one of Chicago’s more buzz-worthy up-and-coming acts Slimeaveli — formally P Dibiase — dropped his 20-song debut mix-tape, Steve Jobs. After acclaimed performances at major music festivals such as Atlanta’s highly esteemed A3C, and the annual SXSW, as well as performances throughout the US, he took a brief hiatus before launching his Slimeaveli mix-tape series, re-inventing his brand and officially changing his name.

Following the success of 2017’s Slimeaveli 2: Go Blow Yo Nose Shorty, which included the piano-driven banger “Threw In The Towel,” Slimeaveli has released his debut studio EP The Slimiest, which dropped on all platforms on March 28, 2018.

Let off by the Derrick Soundz produced single “Who But Me,” and the his most recent released track “On God” (prod by YungKooley)” ; both of which have been gaining traction. The 13-song effort is his most powerful to date.

The ” On God” rapper, was born on the Westside of Chicago, and moved to the East Roger’s Park neighborhood, attending high school in Chicago’s notorious South Side. Though he is the right age to be fully engulfed in the city’s drill-wave, what makes his reality-based music so unique is the fact that it straddles both sides of the proverbial fence. It’s raw uncut but has elements of the windy city’s soul-filled musical tapestry blended with clear delivery and a more lyrical aesthetic hankering back to some of his city’s more iconic exports. Though he’s been one of the city’s best-kept secrets for a while now, it seems as though 2018 will see that secret get out. With a numerous amount of videos recently released and a robust catalog of music under his belt, the industry will soon see Slimeaveli live up to the potential those in the know have been hip to for the past four years.

Chairboy – Daydream @REYNOLDFACEHOLE

Chairboy

Reynold Stubblefield, also known by the stage name Chairboy, is an upcoming rapper/producer who originally grew up in Northeast Philadelphia before he moved out to Delaware 3 years ago to help shape the small music scene the state has. Growing up, Chairboy got into artists like Kanye, Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, Mac Demarco, Homeshake, and Soft Cell. Chairboy intends to make out of the box and experimental music to grab the feelings out of others. With the help of his fellow Co producer/ engineer @MOONSIDESOUND, he is able to reach a very unique sound that can also contain relative elements when it comes to production. Chairboy has just released his first project “The Aquatic Singles Program” on SoundCloud which consists of 5 singles he created last year. https://soundcloud.com/chairboy/sets/aquatic-singles-program-ep. Chairboy is currently working on putting together music that explains more of who he is as a person, music that shows his vulnerability, and exposes the naked truth of the artist.

He now unleashes the official video behind one of the standout tracks from the EP, “Daydream”

“Daydream” is the second song on the Aquatic Singles Program EP and any artist can relate to the content discussed within the song heard in the hook. The hook has to do with a growth of impatience that can be felt when trying to achieve your dreams and goals as an artist. “Why the fuck this daydream so long” is basically saying why the fuck won’t my dreams of getting big turn into a reality already! Cuz let’s be real, it takes a long ass time to really take off as an artist, but through all the hustling and struggling we all have our moments where we forget about patience, in which we have to remind ourselves again that a craft takes time. In between the hook I spit a verse that showcases my artistic ability and talent with writing. I’ve also drawn some attention toward the video with the funny skit at the beginning that mentions the hip hop argument between old heads and the new generation of rap. The music video was shot by @Winzgotbeats and edited by no jumper’s video editor @filo5ofi. Also Co produced by @MOONSIDESOUND
