CALI’S BEST Radio Show is an Urban Contemporary music and talk radio show created and hosted by Lashaun Turner aka Lady I.M.PRE$S. The Show focuses on today’s BEST Music Entertainment, Business, Lifestyle & Trending News Topics. Broadcasting LIVE Thursdays at 8PM PST on CNBC/KCAA 102.3FM, 106.5 FM and 1050 AM to the 13th largest metropolitan area in the United States. CALI’S BEST Radio Show differentiates itself from other shows by delivering a program that is as diverse as its music selections. It’s a unique platform that gives emerging and evolved artists alike the same level of exposure. Major talent such as Grammy nominated singers, producers, and celebrity DJ’s are using the platform to break new music.

Natalia Rich – Mash It Up

Like most great artistes, Natalia found her love for music in the church. She started at the early age of seven, working with the music program in her father’s music ministry. In church, Natalia would rewrite secular music into songs of worship for Sunday service. This was a task that helped fine-tune her song writing skills.

Born and raised in Holland, Netherlands, Natalia’s native language is Dutch. However, moving to St. Maarten at the age of 12 has given her a very noticeable island accent. This is also where her eyes were opened to the world of Reggae and Dancehall music. Because of her distinguishable voice and island roots, she has been compared to Rihanna. She is most certainly a “bad girl gone good”, holding fast to her Christian faith and the importance of God in her life.

Natalia’s first single, “Mash It Up” is sure to be a hit, followed by her second single “On My Mind”. Her Music is an exciting mix of European with an Island flavor. Heavily influenced and inspired by Michael Jackson, Natalia plans to tour and be internationally known for giving the world music with a message of positivity, and a wealth of knowledge.

Larry Brown, aka LB Cyphers is a 20-year-old Atlanta based music artist. LB classifies himself as a multi-genre artist and his passion for poetry is directly incorporated into his appreciation for music. As reiterated by CEO, of TOP(Take Over Production Co.) , Marley McFarlane, “LB’s unique poetic stance resonates loudly through his music and showcases raw potential”.

Cyphers latest single, “Sushi Party” is based solely on the opposite sex and has received major feedback from his current fan base. LBs’ music career was solely influenced by his poetic rhymes, upon completing Dacula High School in 2014, he participated in rap cyphers to get talented kids from different schools together. In 2015 two of LBs’ tracks, “Gold” and “Outta My Cup” won him a lot of recognition among his social media followers as well as from people who heard it. LB also attended Battle Ground Monday, an Atlanta showcase run by 107.9’s The Dirty Boys in which he won twice. “Gold” and “Outta My Cup” were highly recognized as indie classics.

These achievements are responsible for his “go getter “ attitude, He admits that his musical inspirations are Bone Thugs in Harmony, Biggie and Kanye and his aspirations are to become a mainstream artist. His belief Is that passion drives success and lives by Nas quote, “If you are scared to take chances you will never have the answers.”

Hailing from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, CB Smooth is a rapper and singer who focuses on Hip Hop but also infuses his work with the Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Bounce. Part of Dame Grease’s Wave Gang Crew, CB Smooth has partnered with the independent label Entertaining Mindz to release his debut album “All I Do” as a follow up to his mixtape “Country Boy Smooth.” Mixed by famed engineer Fabian Marasciullo, “All I Do” features Jazze Pha, 8Ball, Boldy James, Cory Jones, and Big Moeses. The first single, “Never Had” featuring Johnny P, was produced by legendary hitmaker Zaytoven.

CB Smooth’s love for Hip Hop started at a young age. At 8 years old, CB purchased Naughty by Nature’s “Poverty’s Paradise” album, and soon followed that up by picking up 2Pac’s “All Eyez On Me” and Notorious B.I.G.’s “Ready to Die.” In addition to Pac and Biggie, CB’s favorite artists growing up included R. Kelly, G-Dep, Rakim, DMX, Max B, 50 Cent, DJ Screw, Cam’ron, Black Rob, and Ma$e. These artists proved to be incredibly influential on CB Smooth’s style as a Hip Hop artist. His love for the soulful nature of R. Joseph Gerard Crisol aka. “jCrizzy” was born in Queens, New York in 1986. He was raised in Manila, Philippines, and eventually moved to Northern California in the early 90’s. jCrizzy is a Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B artist with talents in rapping, singing, and production. jCrizzy prides himself in being able to create quality records from beats and lyrics, to the final stages of mixing and mastering.

As a young child, his parents worked as live-in caregivers at a home for individuals with mental disabilities. While most children grew up in environments they could call their own, jCrizzy and his family started off in a single room with next to nothing. When asked what he rememebred most about this time in his life he replied, “I grew up with kids that had it all, and everyday after school, I would go to their houses and see how different our lives were…I never wanted to go home.” With their relentless drive and determination, his parents were able to send him to a good school in a good area, free from the woes of the free world. The owner of the “care home” decided to sell the business to his parents.

jCrizzy’s music focuses on the things we do to “let go”. We often get too caught up in the day-to-day events and the monotony of working and paying bills, that we easily forget that our time here is borrowed. jCrizzy urges us to hold our heads, and live each day like it is our last. He shares with us his story from tenement to town home though his music.
