Christina Balan heads Couleurs Cosmetics launch for Winter 2017

Former model turned Social Service executive Christina Balan has become a self admitted ‘serial entrepreneur.” Born in Haiti and raised in the county of QUEENS, Balan looked forward to living out her dream of gracing the cover of highly reputable publications just like some her idols Tyra Banks, and Naomi Campbell. As a teen she begun her formal training in super modeling, and following her graduation from the Bethel Christian Academy she wasted no time in diving into her beloved industry – the fashion world.  A boss from the outset, she launched her own Balancy Entertainment at the ripe age of 19 years old partnering with established branding agencies in attempt to co-brand and grow.  Providing modeling staff for events, field support for different products, and other promotional services she built a very good rapport with tastemakers and developed herself as a resourceful and well respected individual.

To date her resume includes work with American Film Director Brett Ratner best known for blockbuster film X-Men and The Rush Hour series; American Film Director George Tillman , Jr best known for Soul Food, Notorious and Ice Cube’s Barbershop series of films.  Upon graduating from Berkeley College in 2014 with a dual degree in Business Management and Marketing Balan ventured out with a collection of in clothing stores under the Balancy Collection in her native country Haiti.  In her down time Balan began mixing beauty products at home to fit her skin and beauty needs. Soon-there-after, she realized a passion for the cosmetic industry and began to work exclusively on her Couleurs Cosmetics brand of affordable beauty products for women of all ethnicities and skin types.

Saturday December 10th Couleurs Cosmetics will be hosting its official launch party @ Brooklyn Party Loft (350 Tompkins Avenue, Brooklyn, NY) from 7PM- 12AM.
