Independent New Orleans, LA native, Yung JVZZ started his career in music at the very young age of 16. The stage name Jvzz came about due to his ties with the New Orleans culture and them being known for the great music of Jazz. Born Robert Thomas Jr and raised on the East Side of New Orleans, Jvzz took a few characteristics from his namesake and father Robert Thomas Sr who also started off in the art of music before he had to make changes and go a different route.
Yung Jvzz’s music covers some very deep societal issues that minorities go through and how it is to grow up with the bare necessities.
