For week 14 of Joey B’s #16Weeks16Remixes16Freedownloads campaign The quickly rising artist from outside of Boston,MA has chosen to use yet another classic canvas for his work, this week we get a couple great things 1) the Pound Cake beat from Drake and Jay-Z is jaw dropping 2)we also see a different side of Joey B. Joey has often been known to put out music that serves almost as therapy for him and others who may relate, with this release we get a more positive “Goodbye to the past” hello to the future” type of Joey, as he blatantly admits he’s sick and tired of talking about the past and that it is time for new beginnings amd I’d have to say mid January is definitely the perfect time for that. Perhaps this is more along the lines of what we will be hearing from Joey B in his forthcoming project ‘Closure’ Which features Joe Budden, Kxng Crooked, Slaine, & Trev Rich
