0

“Lay It Down” is Drexanz’s first single/video produced by newcomers, MXHXCK and Fiderri. The video depicts a modern day Bonnie and Clyde. A story of sex, drugs and rock and roll filmed in a cinematic way makes for an eye catching watch.

Drexanz is a determined singer/songwriter, rapper and beat maker rising out of London, UK.

His melodic, emotional rap music allows the audience an insight into his mind and spirit. Brought up living and breathing music from childhood to adult, this artist has been influenced by a variety of genres ranging from indie-rock/pop punk, rap/hip hop, grime and garage, and emo rap. Drexanz’s clever use of grime flows and emo-rock influences, combined with the hard hitting yet wavy beats create a euphoric sound.

This variety and culture is something that allows Dre to constantly develop his sound. Drexanz has pure lyrics and wears his heart on his sleeve, letting his music do the talking.

SMKRSROOM – Cool Me Down @SMKRSROOM

0

Director Matthew Arnold dives into what it’s like for a degenerate to overcome a break up. An escapade of a runaway heartbreak, M9 delivers a cinematic feature that tells not a story but moments of someone on the decline, relying in drugs, alcohol and a rebound for salvation as SMKRSROOM wears his heart (and voice) on his sleeve at the center of it all.

Smkrsroom is an entity created by Pat Woods, a singer-songwriter from Orlando, FL. The alias represents a creative space, leaving room to liberate oneself from a status quo and challenge their identity to become more revolutionary, musically and personally. His sound alines with the likes of DVSN, Frank Ocean, Miguel, Bryson Tiller and others in the PBR&B realm but as a ghostwriter at heart, you may hear nods at others who’ve inspired the penmanship. His first EP, “Songs For Sale”, is due early 2019.

DREWKABOOM and Indianapolis emcee, Trey Avant ring in the Fall/Winter seasons with an infectious Hip Hop video for “Waitless”.

DREW KABOOM is a versatile rap artist with a really unique approach. His style blurs the lines between modern hip-hop and golden age warmth, going for a really diverse and forward-thinking feel. More importantly, his lyrical flow is particularly distinctive due to the artist’s inner positivity and ability to engage listeners through his lyrics.

Influenced by iconic artists like Mos Def, Wu-Tang and Nas, DREW KABOOM understands the importance of great wordplay, and his lyrics are on point, not only in terms of attitude, but also in terms of meaning. The NYC rapper is poised to leave a mark with his earnest tracks and world-class productions, highlighting his kaleidoscopic vision and passion for the hip-hop scene.

Chief Panda – Hi’C @ChiefyPanda

0

Chief Panda’s “Hi’C” is a track that explains the everyday struggle of a underground artist with trial and tribulations with ambition of whats more to come. In his hook he repeats (I have the juice, We have the juice, We are The Juice). Basically insinuating that we all have a potential talent the we haven’t tap into yet and the struggle of believing in yourself to show to world. The beat is more of a up tempo trap sounding record with conscious lyrics and flow. In the video shows some of his fun personality with him riding around in a shopping cart with a Maserati next to him screaming, “I have The Juice”! It is his first video releasing to the public eye with hopes that listeners can relate to and love the lyrics he brings to the track.

Chief Panda from Maryland. 26 year old artist. Chief Panda started rapping at age 17 and has dropped underground projects with Local DMV artist and producers. His first video he released was called Hi’C which is available on you tube and soundcloud. Chief Panda is a new generation flow rapper that still want’s to get his content and ambitions across to his listeners with catchy lyrics and hooks. 90’s rappers is a big influence in his music and sound. ( I believe the Hip Hop should change but for better but still have substance to where people can relate). Chief Panda continues to push his underground sound and conscious flow to a mainstream platform.

Deadman Cyph – Midnight

0

Just in time for the Halloween season, Deadman Cyph debuts the grizzly, Brixx shot video for “Midnight”, a single off his upcoming debut mixtape, “INSIDEMYHEAD VOL.1”.

Born in Hempstead, NY and raised in Bay Shore NY, Deadman Cyph draws his unapologetically blunt mannerisms and inimitable narrative from the diversity of his environment, Long Island. His style is parallel to that of Pandora’s Box: any type of record can and will be executed to the apex of his unique character and the product will be wicked.

Up until adolescence, Cyph’s musical experience includes performance of piano, trumpet, and baritone. It wasn’t until high school that he picked up DJing on a pair of Numark TTXs which eventually led to his passion for rapping. Given his resume, it is fair to assume his musical taste scales a plethora of different, tasteful genres. With influence from Sóley, Corinne Bailey Rea, Biggie Smalls, MC Guru, Erykah Badu, Kurt Cobaine and Amy Winehouse ; his aesthetic is outside of any status quo.

His music and following is strong, aggregating 1.73 million listens (Soundcloud) on his debut single “ODB.” A month later, while opening for Bone Thugs Worldwide at The Pit in Colorado, he released his second big single “Big Brother”, amassing 977,000 listens. Manifest Destiny, his former collective he represents, released their first conglomerate LP in November. In 2018 he re-branded with his newly formed collective/label “RIPLABELS (ᴚ.?.ᴘ ˡᵃᵇᵉˡˢ). His art is based around life and death and change.
