Jack Doyo – Out Da Gate @NNRJackDoyo
Jack Doyo ‘s latest single “Out Da Gate” is the dreamy bouncy tune you’ve been waiting for.
Jack Doyo is an Artist/Producer/Ceo & Founder of NNR (New Nairobi Records). Born and raised in Nairobi, he now resides in Raleigh, NC. Jack has had a love for instruments his whole life playing everything he picked up from a guitar, piano, drum set and trumpets. He took his love for instruments by opening his first studio in Morisville, NC where he began his journey producing beats and incorporated his poetry when he was heavily pulled by the amount of emotional release he received from recording music. He described it as being away from the world when he is in the booth and vividly expresses how its his way of venting and getting away from the troubles the world bares.
His goal is to touch every demographic and unite the world with his music. He has no limits and is able to incorporate his Kenyan culture with hip hop and even RnB. He has studied all genres and artists as would an intern trying to understand the art of music and has evolved himself through his vast library. He has worked with Sony’s Orchard and has a truly unlimited supply of music that would speak to the masses. Jack would not like to speak on his music and feels the people ultimately are to be the ones to judge.

His motive when creating music is making a song that everyone can turn up and get crazy to and he will not touch a beat that doesn’t portray that same vibe.
His new song “Flexed Up” exemplifies that wild out mentality. He has this to say about the single.
“FLEXED UP” is a song that I cooked up with the hopes of reaching a huge audience. It’s a great song to play at clubs or just turn up to drinking with friends. Keep an eye out for the official music video to drop.”

Bombay Boyz – Reapers @bombayboyzmusic
Just in time for the Halloween season, the visual to Bombay Boyz 2018 heavy hitter, “Reapers”, is here to get you whack rappers spooked about your lack of lyricism and flow. They are here as reapers, sending garbage emcees to the afterlife through the lethal injection of their bars.
The Chicago based hip hop duo, Bombay Boyz (comprised of Eric Wilhelm and Harrison Maxwell), have spent most of 2017-2018 curating showcases, promoting their psychedelic jazz hop ep Sapphire Theory, and running their cypher circuit series called Sapphire Syphers.
Currently, they are working on releasing their sophomore record sometime in early 2019 titled Jedi East. A lyrical follow up and expansion on the mythos and philosophy that is the Bombay Boyz; yet a switch in sound and style to a more hard hitting hip hop aesthetic as opposed to Sapphire Theory’s chill wave, lo-fi vibe.
The Bombay Boyz represent a unique sound within todays hip hop being influenced by Tech N9ne, Bone Thugs, Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, Binary Star, Eminem, Wu Tang, Nas, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, and loads of alternative rock, pop, and r&b from every era. Their content touches on a lot of subjects such as drug use, relationships, the music industry, psychedelics, alcoholism, living in Chicago, being broke, partying, lifestyle choices, and how underrated they feel that they are.
Jay Lewn – No Time @Jay_Lewn
Jay Lewn tackles relationships and unrequited love on his cathartic second single, “No Time”.
Confronting the realities of unexpected heart-break and the issues of one- sided relationships, Jay’s melancholic Brit-Rnb vocals lead the intimate track through a pulsating Rhodes piano and a contrasting heavy rhythm section, supported by a chorus of voices and shoe-gaze guitar motif.
Reminiscent of the sounds of James Blake and Brent Faiyaz, the instrumental layers within the track are dense, as if to mimic the confusion caused by ending a relationship and the emotional baggage that comes with it; how it becomes more difficult to stay when you are continually ‘picking up the pieces’.
Reflective of Jay’s extensive musical capabilities, No Time demonstrates his incontestable skill of storytelling through lyrics and sound. An overall introspective track, No Time’s muted sound palette and evolving melodies paired with self-examining lyricism provides poignant moments for all listeners.

Tenjin – New Toronto @TenjinMusic
Tenjin is one half of the Intrinsic Harmony Music duo, who are aspiring music writers and entertainers from Detroit, MI. With a style that fuses lyricism with the more contemporary sound of Hip-Hop, Tenjin tells a different story on every song, capturing the world surrounding him, and sharing it with others in hopes of finding a common ground through music and the culture.
According to Tenjin, the single “New Toronto” is a story about a drunken weekend getaway in Toronto.
“It is actually not even my own story.” says Tenjin when asked about the inspiration behind the latest single. “It is an exaggerated retelling, in my own words, of the events in the life of a close friend. As he was telling me the story, I was already coming up with the lyrics and the setting. For an example the line ‘Hitting it back to back like I just ate a Senzu bean’ is based off the fact that they practically lived on canned beans for the weekend, and I just put my own twist on it.”
FRAN$E – illbealrightnow @ProdFranse
FRAN$E’s “illbealrightnow” was written around two main concepts. These being: self reflection and self isolation. These concepts are expressed in the music video through the use of, the mirror as a symbol of self reflection. And the forest setting as a symbol of self isolation.
The mirror is used as a symbol of self reflection. Everybody thinks about things looking at themselves in the mirror, so considering how reflective the song is on FRAN$E’s own experience, he decided to frame the video heavily around the use of the mirror. The mirror also serves as a separate window, allowing the audience to see FRAN$E the way he does.
FRAN$E chose to shoot the video in a forest to symbolize the theme of isolation within the song. The self reflection FRAN$E was undertaking lead him to become self isolating. This desire to be left alone is expressed through lyrics such as “Leave me to die, I’ll be alright now.” The lust for loneliness that the self reflection lead FRAN$E to, was the reason he chose to shoot the video in such an isolated location, as a visual symbol of the lyrics.
FRAN$E is an artist and producer originating from Auckland, New Zealand. FRAN$E was born on October 12th 1997.
After producing for three years as a side income, FRAN$E couldn’t vent his emotions to his full potential through instrumentals anymore, this lead him to begin writing and recording. Struggling to find the confidence to release his songs into the New Zealand scene he found inspiration in what other New Zealand artists/groups such as Pastel Embassy are doing.
Outside of the New Zealand scene FRAN$E found influence in a range of artists, bands and producers such as: Lil Uzi Vert, Fats’e, Guccihighwaters, Lil Peep, Safe Sin, Green Day, Blink-182, Smokeasac and Clams Casino. FRAN$E combines all these influences in both his production and vocals. These include deep 808s, whiny pop punk vocals, fast hi-hats and acoustic drums. Always creating a mashup of genres in one track.
Currently FRAN$E is working on a new EP and music videos to accompany it.
