She-Uno – Smile @She_unO

0

Growing up in PG County Maryland, She-Uno began penning raps for class presentations in about fifth grade. Even through attaining multiple degrees (a bachelors in Chemical Engineering and masters in Business Admin) and corporate jobs, he’s always held the same dream of using his voice through music for impact.

In 2017 he released his debut, official EP Invincible Summer. He recently released two new singles, Smile and Get Back Up, which can be streamed or purchased anywhere you can get music, while preparing to release a new project in 2019 entitled (T)here. He invites you to join him on this journey.

Here’s his latest, “Smile”.

“Smile” comes from the perspective of talking to, and having a relationship with, a smile as if it were a person. The song recounts from the first time meeting a smile on the faces of parents and doctors in the delivery room, to times where you needed a smile the most but it was missing, such as after a breakup. It even revisits times where a smile was abused or tainted by a lie, such as black face used to mimic and devalue African Americans.

B-Strilla changed the name of the label after his longtime friend was hit and killed on a scooter by a car. He is now in the Atlanta, Ga location where he’s creating a huge buzz off his single, Bounce.

The song Bounce came about when B-Strilla says he stepped in the stripclub and fucked some money up. After the club he told his self it’s time to bounce back and then he thought that’s it bounce back off that ounce. B-Strilla went to the studio and freestyled the song and didn’t think nothing of the song. The song sat in the studio for over a year before he put it out. B-Strilla tells us one weekend he went to Spin on Peters St. on a Saturday and hooked up with DJ Mike Mars (A well known ATL DJ) the record went crazy. T

he song has grown legs and is becoming a crowd favorite. Now he felt it was time to put a visual for the hot single. The Bounce video features Jet Way “ The Blue Power Ranger” it is a funny comical music video. Also the video is one to remember it has a lot of bounce in it which means booty. B-Strilla’s hook repeats bounce back off that ounce meaning whenever you fall off you gotta figure out a way to get you some money. This video is definitely one to remember.

Dope Da Vinci – Last Year Being Broke @Dopedavinci509

Music is art and art is music for artist Dope Da Vinci. An artist out of North Miami Beach, Florida who fell in love with the art of lyricism because it served as an escape for him. Being born in Haiti and moving to the states at the age of one he feels like he is more American than the ones that are born here but in his eyes he feels like ” you can only play the cards that you was dealt”. Despite everything he was able to drop his debut project “Full Court Press” November 10th 2017. The name “Full Court Press” came from his love for basketball and his refusal to “take no L” attitude despite the score and or situation.

His influences are T.I, Dwayne Wade and Daymond John. Reason being because the came from nothing and made no excuses. Now, because of it they all are on top of the respective industries and you gotta pay them there respect for that. That’s the same way Dope Da Vinci wants it to be at the end of the day. Him knowing it’s there just drives him to find the light at the end of the tunnel. His other motivation comes from the struggle of his mom. After all she’s been through and done for him he feels like its time to repay the big lump sum of debt owed to her.

His new video, “Last Year Being Broke”, puts the struggle at the forefront.

“Last Year Being Broke” is the title track to my forthcoming album. This video shows the hunger and also sets the mentality of how we are moving forward. The song, project title and concept came from the struggles off my previous year. That feeling of never having enough, that feeling of being stuck, I wanted to change my mentality and those around me that one day we would see the light at the end of the tunnel and that we would not be stuck in the mud for ever and I wanted to uplift me and those around me into thinking like that and repeating this statement.
