After seeing quick success of his single, ‘Rigatoni,’ feat. Mick Jenkins, Ursa the Chef teamed up with videographer Noa Iimura to capture the raw energy of the 23 year old Chicago rapper. The video finds Ursa in his element: Bouncing around, smiling, and getting sauced up. His debut single ‘History’ showcased talent among fellow Chicago-area natives Saba, Cub-J, and Michael King, and landed him several opening acts on the East Coast for Post Malone.
In the two years that followed, he released several singles with producers Fishman! and JAB, including ‘Chef,’ ‘Boss,’ and ‘Champ.’ Following Rigatoni, produced by Joni Green Tea, Ursa is working on multiple projects and has music in the works with artists including theMIND and Brian Fresco.

Shon Weathers drops “Feng Shui” filmed in New York City Times Square. Here, Shon displays his ability to be comfortable in any element as he interacts with Random People in New York City displaying his confidence within himself or his “Feng Shui” (the makeup or design of himself).
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Shon is not ashamed to admit he took a few pages out of the books of the heavy hitters of his city, both old and new. As the saying goes “study the best to be the best”. In doing so, Shon has created something that has become his own personal style. Something that bridges the gap between the younger generation and the “old heads”. Shon takes pride in being able to appeal to both, and wants nothing more than to touch as many souls as possible in a positive way. His music is one of, if not the best avenue to do just that.
Dol Ikara lures viewers into an intriguingly sensual web via her latest video, “White Queen”, directed by Braedon Speakman and produced by Rockton Road.
Inspired by the divine feminine, gothic and antique imagery, and the organic fecundity of nature, Dol Ikara brings timely themes to this day and age of non-violence, gentle strength and female empowerment. Dol Ikara — the musical project of Claire Roddy — harkens back to the unfolding of music made decades ago, as each song is recorded live. The sound pulls from many sources, from dark wave to gothic rock to post-rock. Various musical influences include Mazzy Star, Sonic Youth, Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, Kate Bush, and classic rock bands such as Led Zeppelin.
Claire studied music at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and now studies literature in Los Angeles. A poet, as well, she is very driven by the beauty of phonetics in her composition of lyrics, which ultimately brought about the birth of her moniker for this project. Dol Ikara is therefore a neologism — something simply phonetically beautiful, acting as a blank canvas in order to hold the innate essence of this project without any preconceived notions or associations.

Teen Vogue presents the “Dead Roses” EP, a 5 track project focusing on the ups and downs of love.
With this EP, I’ve really put in a lot of time and work to be as great as I can be. I shut myself from social media and friends to focus solely on music for 6 months and I really feel like it shows. I’ve progressed so much and I’m finally ready to show people what I’ve got.

Sprove’s much anticipated visual for “NUVO” featuring Ye Ali has finally arrived on YouTube.
Sprove, born Aaron JaVante LeSure on July 20th, 1994, is an American rapper, creative, entrepreneur, inventor, and innovator. Sprove has stirred up a lot of excitement with the single “Pacific” on his debut EP “Treading Waters”. Since releasing his EP, he has dropped 3 new singles that have put in the minds of his fans that he will be in this industry for a long time to come.
Sprove grew up on the Westside of Indianapolis, IN and is the oldest of 1 brother and 2 sisters. At the age of 13, he started with attempting to freestyle with one of his school friend, Aaron Handley, because he was always interested in music but never knew how he wanted to do it himself. Whenever Sprove would be at home, he would sit and write his songs and at this point is when he realized there was definitely a great talent hidden within himself.
While in college at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN Sprove never thought that he would make his occupation a musical artist until him and his fraternity brothers created a Kappa mixtape that received major recognition from more than 1000 people with minimal promotion. This was big at the time because this was only done out of fun.
Sprove took this recognition and went about starting to create songs in his closet and releasing them on Soundcloud just to see what people thought. With this low quality music, he was still able to create a good fan base of people that pushed him to do more and keep getting better.
Much of his momentum came when he started opening up for artists like Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Shy Glizzy, Jacquees, Wale, Dae Dae, PnB Rock, Lil Bibby, Lud Foe, and many more notable artists. Sprove now headlines his own shows of which he can now hear all his fans scream every word to his songs at the top of their lungs. Every show is a movie! Much of the influence for him creating his music comes from R. Kelly, Shy Glizzy, Tupac, Wiz Khalifa. You will notice that Sprove’s genre is hard to pinpoint because he will give you a love song then turn around and give you a money counting song. He creates the waviest music out today. He is the new wave. He’s nothing like you’ve ever heard before.
