        Pretty Girls Fart

Marcus The Artus, born Marcus Smith, is a marketing team’s dream. From attention grabbing audio to eye catching visuals it’s no wonder this California native is next up in his hometown. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Marcus showed early signs of advanced intellect via testing by the age of 7. When his classmates were given 1 to 2 pages to write a story, Marcus was given 10. He consistently captured his class with his stories so much he was given an untraditional award at a school assembly. It was at this time he unconsciously developed a love for entertainment. Even as a full time student athlete, Marcus always found himself creating once he was older. Writing raps, coordinating/performing Outkast reenactments, even shooting and editing his class’ Senior video completely by himself, were just a few examples of his artistry.

Once he graduated high school, Marcus followed in the footsteps of E-40 & Eryka Badu by attending Grambling State University. Much like E-40, it was Grambling where he realized what was within him. After a few open mic ovations, talent show wins, newspaper reviews, and being the first student with school radio play, in true E-40 & Eryka Badu fashion Marcus attempted to drop out. Unknown to his family, Marcus stopped going to school in the middle of his junior year and decided to focus on his music and appearance. It wasn’t until he thought about his family’s sacrifices that he decided to go back and attempt to finish. Had it not been for his natural ability to absorb information he said he would have surely flunked out.

Now a Grambling State Alumni, Marcus The Artus is a force to be reckoned with. Soon after he reached viral success by receiving 500k+ views in 3 days via his now cult classic song “Winco”. Shortly after that Marcus was discovered by his now in-house producer Keegah and the two have been churning out project after project with “Pretty Girls Fart” being their first official release. Bottom line, don’t sleep on the Fubu Guru.

        Sippin Syrup

$nowband$ was born and raised in the city of Louisville, Kentucky. His mother worked as a nurse and his father was in the army throughout his whole life. He was always the youngest one out of his friend group and always had to be the leader. He grew up in the west end of Louisville, which was hard for him growing up with all the drugs and violence going on around him. He seemed to always be interested in the music as he would make little rhymes every now and then as he went through life. He moved up to Boston, MA when he was only 12 and there he went to school in Kingston, MA. He also moved around a lot to places like East Providence, RI and there he went to high school as well. He currently lives in Plymouth, MA while helping his Mother a long the way.

$nowband$ was a very troubled child growing up as he always wanted to participate in activities with his friends and learn more about life itself whether it was from someone else or on his own. He started to actually rap and put out music back in 2015 but in his eyes it wasn’t going to cut it. This year in 2018 he has started to acknowledge the real potential he has with his sound and took rap serious as he then figured out this is what he wants to do for the rest of his life.

With hard work and dedication he has now released his first new single “Sippin Syrup” on SoundCloud and backed it up with a video that is now on YouTube on his page @iamsnowbands. I would say this young man has worked hard to get where he is at this point in time and I can only wish him the best as he continues to make and develop more master pieces with his group called Chef Boys.

        Damian – Break Bread | @fraildamian |

        Damian

“Break Bread” is Damian’s first true solo track and he wanted to do it huge so he hit up Nessly. He’s always respected his work so it was only right. The track is big, fun and perfect for the upcoming summer.

Braggadocios and witty on the track, Damian uses his unique flow and melodies to deliver lines like “good genes/jeans like I got it from my momma, these GAP but I don’t see a problem”. Showing that he is hustling and making sure that he financially capitalizes on that talent he has been grooming, but that he is a humble dude at the same time that is going to do what he wants and and wear what he wants. Living on his own wave. It is an amazing track and with the right push behind it the song can have great impact.

Damian Bess is a 19 yr old artist originally from Maryland that currently lives in Washington D.C. He started off his creative career as a skateboarder/professional model that always had a huge love for music. He began really making music in Maryland when he began joking around and recording with his group partner, SEAMU$. After high school he moved to New York to model for RED Management group amongst some of the top models in the world for some very high brands, but then he came to the realization that modeling at this point really wasn’t for him. He wanted to make amazing music while controlling his own future and image, so he moved back home to the DMV area and got locked in with his group, Frailboys.

The name Frailboys came from Damian being skinny and wanting to take a negative term used and turn it around to show all his supporters that they will win in life just being themselves and killing that everyday! Damian Bess is looking to make amazing music and grow. He plans on perfecting his producing and taking singing lessons to really push himself. Have had a lot of label offers and support at their concerts, but for now the only way is up and he plans on working hard to make everything come to fruition.

        Shana Diggs

“Waffle Cones” from Chicago artist Shana Diggs is an EP with a blend of unique sounds that mix and match a little bit of everything from uptempo rap, R&B and reggae vibes

Shana Diggs was born Croshana Campbell on November 29, 199X, in Chicago, IL. Growing up Shana Diggs was the 2nd oldest of 12 children between her mother and father. During her childhood she always had a strong love for music and while living on the east side of Chicago after making a few neighborhood friends she discovered her love for preforming as well. Shana, her older sister and a group of friends started an all girl group that began as dancers, which progressed into imitating other girl groups such as Destiny’s child and TLC, to becoming their own girl group “Lil Angels”.

After years of writing songs and preforming together anywhere they could, the group split up but Shana’s passion for making music remained. Feeling discouraged about being a solo artist she decided to focus on her education. She went on to graduate from Senn High school, Malcolm X College with an Associates in Science and Resurrection University with a Bachelors in the Science of Nursing and obtained her nursing license. With all the educational success Shana still was unhappy with not pursuing her true passion. While still in school and working full time Shana started making youtube covers which began to yield some success. Her most successful YouTube cover to date was an original verse over the “Or Nah” track by Ty Dolla Sign which generated over 10,000 views.

From there, Shana got involved in two unsuccessful management deals. After finally deciding to take things into her own hands she decided to release her first independent single, “My Name”. The song was recognized by some big names in Chicago such as Twista, Power 92’s DJ Hotrod and WCGI. After being featured in WGCI’s Next to Blow Showcase, things finally seemed to be moving in the right direction but do to some unforeseen family event Shana began suffering from depression and once again put her music on hold. Finally in April of 2018 Shana Diggs is releasing her first completed solo project entitled “Waffle Cones”.

        24kGoldn

In his latest track, 24kGoldn is balling as hard as basketball star and son of Shaquille O’Neal, Shareef O’Neal. Producer Black Mayo’s energetic soundtrack is perfectly matched by 24k’s animated melodies in “Ballin’ Like Shareef”. Dropping just in time for your summer playlist, this song was made for cruisin’ around with the top down.

At only 17 years old, 24kGoldn is revolutionizing Bay Area music as we know it. This San Francisco native draws inspiration from his hometown while putting a new spin on the traditional “hyphy” movement of the Bay. His “golden” sound–high energy beats, catchy melodies, and clever lyrics–have captured the attention of thousands across the country. With each new song, 24kGoldn continues to grow his following and is on track to become hip-hop’s next superstar.

        Jeff Skigh

Take a psychedelic trip into the corrupt city of Flint where government officials like Rick Snyder have poisoned the citizens. Jeff Skigh expresses his feelings towards the whole situation in the animated video for “Highway Music”, featuring Ace Gabbana.

Jeff Skigh is a Hip Hop artist from Flint, MI. The Flint native spends most of his time working on his craft, watching anime, or online playing fort night or super smash bros melee. Skigh has released two solo projects, “High X” and “Hotbox Music”, respectively in recent years.

Jeff has amassed over 400k streams from his current release, Hotbox Music, single “Good Vibes” which had a hint of nostalgia as the wordplay and beat meld into one. When he’s not writing music or gaming you’ll find Jeff working on and directing his videos with cameramen and animators alike. He takes full creative control when it comes to relaying his vision through his visual concepts.
